The Inflatables play melodic, guitar-driven rock: big riffs, soaring lead lines and songs built to be played loud. Violetta (vocals), Dave (lead guitar), Meirion (bass) and Sam (drums) first played together in the '80s, reformed in 2024 after a one-off reunion show, and haven't stopped since. They're not a nostalgia act: they write new music and release an original single every month. Recent releases were recorded at Skyline Studios, Woking, and mixed by Dan Stringer (Ms. Lauryn Hill, X Ambassadors). Fans of The Pretenders, Blondie and Duran Duran will feel at home.
